The Face of Finike is Changing

The hot asphalt works, initiated by the Finike Municipality Directorate of Public Works to enhance the district's road quality and prevent water accumulation during rainy days, are continuing at full speed.

Finike Mayor Mustafa Geyikçi, who inspected the works on-site, stated that citizen satisfaction will increase with the ongoing road improvement works, adding, "With the efforts we have undertaken throughout Finike, our fellow citizens will now enjoy safer and more comfortable transportation."

Asphalt Works Have Commenced in Three Neighborhoods

Mayor Geyikçi stated that the works are progressing simultaneously in three neighborhoods, adding, "Within the scope of operations in Yeni Mahalle, Hasyurt Mahallesi, and Turunçova Mahallesi, a total of 1.5 kilometers of hot asphalt and 15 kilometers of surface and emulsion asphalt paving are being laid. With the superstructure arrangements commencing in areas where infrastructure works have been completed, the objective is to render the roads more durable, comfortable, and safe."

Mayor Geyikçi, highlighting that the ongoing works reinforce the road network integrity within the district, stated, "By preventing deteriorations arising from material discrepancies, the driving safety for our citizens will be enhanced. Additionally, issues of water accumulation on paved roads during rainy days will be eliminated. In Finike, where we addressed infrastructure problems in the previous term, we are now accelerating superstructure projects, continuing to heed our citizens' requests and develop solutions."

Mayor Geyikçi, emphasizing that the asphalt works undertaken are a significant step for Finike's development, stated, "We identify the shortcomings in our neighborhoods and maintain constant communication with our citizens.
