Promotion Examination Announcement
In accordance with the Regulation on Principles of Promotion and Title Change for Personnel of Municipalities, Affiliated Institutions, and Local Government Unions, and the letter dated 02.01.2024 and numbered 8348753 from the General Directorate of Local Governments of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, it has been deemed appropriate to conduct a Promotion and Title Change exam in 2024 for our personnel working under Law No. 657. Applications for those wishing to take the exam for the titles listed in Annex-1, which specifies the titles for which the exam will be held, will close at the end of business on 01.02.2024. Applications made after this date will not be considered. Applications must be made in person to the Directorate of Registry Affairs by filling out the “Promotion Exam Application Form”.
Within the framework of the exam calendar to be determined in conjunction with the institution conducting the exam, details regarding the promotion and title change exam for municipal personnel, including online application procedures, exam participation fees, exam centers, examination method and scoring system, number of exam questions, exam date, announcement of exam results, access to exam questions, objection procedures, and other similar matters will be announced separately.
CONDITIONS FOR THE PROMOTION AND TITLE CHANGE EXAM
1- Personnel who meet the required qualifications as of the last day of the application period for the announced vacant positions may apply in writing for only one of the different titled positions for which they meet the application conditions.
2- Those to be appointed through promotion and title change must succeed in both the written and oral examinations.
3- It is also possible for those on leave in accordance with relevant legislation, including those on unpaid leave, to apply and participate in the exam.
The announced titles and application conditions for the aforementioned exam are specified in the annexes below.
