Mayor's Message

Dear Fellow Citizens,

We are working diligently to carry out this important duty, which we took over with your support and favor, in line with your views and needs. Since the day we took office, we have acted with the awareness of the requirements of a transparent municipality and have taken important steps in this regard. By radically rejecting a stereotyped understanding of municipalism that is unaware of the needs of the citizens, we have adopted a social municipalism approach and positioned it at the center of our operations.

First and foremost, we carried out meticulous work to identify the problems. Following this meticulous work, we mobilized all the means at our disposal to produce various solutions, and we will continue to do so.

We love Finike and the values it harbors, and we protect them. We are carrying out projects and works aimed at preserving these values. We have fully embraced the sociocultural richness of Finike without alienating or marginalizing anyone, and we will always continue to maintain this unifying approach. We hope that this unifying approach will become a permanent value for Finike.

We are working devotedly to ensure that every colleague working in our municipal staff acts with this understanding, and that this model is adopted and its importance is understood at every level of our municipality.

We know that first the mindset must change, and then the methods; with an unchanging mindset, methods are not sustainable. We aim to leave sustainable and transferable values for Finike. We continue this beautiful journey of service, which we embarked on together with you, with your suggestions and support.
